Below you will find a selection of classes that take place within the Corner House and Memorial Hall. 

Charlbury Judo Club​

Mondays (School Terms)  6:00pm – 7:00pm, Memorial Hall

Children: 5 -14yrs old, New members welcome

Teaching kids in Oxfordshire the traditional sport of Judo. What are the ‘traditional’ methods of Judo? By “traditional” we mean the teachings of Dr Jigoro Kano – founder of the sport in 1882. Dr Kano was an advocate of mind and body, and the discipline of the exercise room involving the observance of the regular rules of etiquette, courage, and perseverance, kindness to and respect for others, impartiality and fair play.

Fee for the term (10 weeks)  £60

Baby & Toddler Group

Mondays 9.30am – 11:00am, Memorial Hall

Children: 3 months and 4 years of age. New members welcome

Baby and toddler classes offer 3 stages of classes, each tailored specifically to support young families with babies, toddlers and pre-school children aged between 3 months and 4 years of age.

Classes offer a safe, supportive and nurturing environment, where parents, carers and children meet in small groups to enjoy our interactive musical activities.

BodyFit Pilates​

Thursdays 9.30 – 11.30am , Memorial Hall

Led by Sarah Khoja – Sarah qualified as a pilates teacher with Body Control Pilates in London, renowned as a world-leading education provider for Pilates teaching. She has personally reaped the benefits of pilates, having suffered back problems for a couple of years and sciatica during pregnancy. Her approach is to tailor your pilates experience to you as an individual.

Sarah offers group classes and 1.1s. This particular class is quite physically challenging but suitable for both seasoned pilates enthusiasts and for those who have not practised before. 

Yoga Restorative​

Thursdays 11.45 -1pm, Green Room – Memorial Hall

Led by Nikki Jackson, Yoga Therapist and Yoga Teacher, with over 30 years experience creatively guiding people in yoga practices for their specific health needs rather than a ‘one size fits all’ approach.

Relieve stress and physical tension, restore and rebalance your health needs with this gentle, mindful yoga class. Class includes somatic movements, stretches, breathwork, as well as deep relaxations.

Nikki runs national 2 year post graduate training courses for yoga teachers to learn how to support people with chronic health conditions.

Flow yoga with Loren

Saturdays 9:30 to 10:30, Green Room, Memorial Hall

Set to music, where fluid movement is linked with the breath, combining strength work with flexibility training and a focus on alignment. Expect a fun mix of flows, relaxing stretches and meditation. Suitable for all levels.

£10 per 60 min class, if you enroll for the whole term Term – 1 x a week, a 7-week block,  is £70 – Payment in advance
